China, Beijing number of human cases of H7N9 influenza continue to rise: 13 cases so far this year

Beijing News reporter (reporter Dai Xuan) the Beijing CDC, Beijing yesterday added a human case of H7N9 flu.

Since January 2017, 13 cases of H7N9 were reported in Beijing, 7 of which were local cases and 6 cases were imported.

The survey found that 7 of local cases had live birds or live poultry market exposure history before disease onset (3 cases of dead bird contact history), and 5 cases had contact with mobile vendors to buy live birds. 

For the other 2 cases exposure history is under investigation.
